This year, I was required to write an opinion paper for my PTA Professional Issues 2 class on health care financing, I chose the subject; free market insurance. As an "older" student, I feel lucky to have life experience with healthcare systems, both as a consumer and as a employee. These experiences allow me to look at healthcare in both rolls. We need to provide fiscal management of healthcare resources while adhering to administrative policies and procedures all for the efficient, quality, and affordable healthcare of our patients. This artifact provides an understanding of operational and fiscal activities addressing quality of service delivery in physical therapy.
